Giveaway Contest: Win a Poken!

December 18, 2008 · Print This Article

Since I wrote about Poken in my article “Poken: The Future of Social Networking?” a lot of people responded, and some people seem to like it a lot while others don’t understand what all the fuss is about, as you can read in the comments on digg and on my article.

For the end of the year I’ve decided to give away two free Pokens to readers of Streamlined Mind. To enter the contest you just have to do two simple things:

  • Sign up to receive new Streamlined Mind articles by email, using the field in the sidebar on the right of this website;
  • Tell me your New Year’s resolution by leaving a comment on this post.

That’s easy isn’t it? The contest will be active till the end of this year, so you can enter before the 1st of January 2009. You can enter only once.

I’ll randomly select two commenters who will win a Poken. Make sure you provide the right email address, so I can contact you in case you win!

Since I wrote about Poken I’ve been trying it out, and I have to say it works like a charm. It only really works when you know other people with a Poken too, but in the two weeks I had mine a lot of people asked me about that strange little gadget on my key chain. So if you want to be one of the first Poken users on earth, you can by entering this competition. We might discover that Poken actually is the future of social networking.

Note: I’m not associated with Poken in any way. They did send me some Pokens to give away. So here we go!

If you like this, please spread the word about the contest!

    I’ve got several resolutions for the upcoming year. One is to expand my exercise regime. Others include continuing the web site re-design, getting a new job to expand my career, starting a side business, and learning a new programming language.

    In years past I have made several in one year, and this is the first year for no resolutions for me… So my resolution is no resolution- is this a meta resolution, or a cop out? :-)

    My new years resolution is the same as last year, not make any. It is common knowledge that new years resolutions are often broken. I’m not prepared to FAIL. :)

    My news years resolution is to become more independent, not to let men ruin my life anymore, find happiness but not from others but from within my self. I like to wake up everyday and even if no one else loves me I want to love me. I want to find the inner and outer beauty others claim to see. I would also like to become a bit healthier. and lastly I want to be able to let go of my past.

    I don’t usually make resolutions but I haven’t done any training for 6 years and my gut isn’t getting any smaller.

    I’m not thinking I’ll ever get my definition back or get back into coaching Lau Gar but at least 1 Kung-Fu session a week must be possible! :)
